The Little Mermaid (1988) Plot- Ariel, a mischievous mermaid, can only dream of being with Prince Eric, a human, because her father disapproves of any and all things related to humans. Ariel makes a deal with Ursula, the sea witch, in which she trades her voice for 3 days has a human. She must get Prince Eric to kiss her within three days or she will be come a prisoner of Ursula. The Lion King (1994) Plot- Simba, a mischievous lion cub, can't wait till the day he becomes king. He is maybe a bit to eager though. He is tricked into believing that he killed his father and his banished from the Pride Lands. Sleeping Beauty (1958) . Plot- The Mistress of all Evil is jealous of Princess Aurora (Rose). A trio of fairies try their best to protect the Princess from harm, but their magic is no match compared to Maleficent's, and Aurora falls into a deep sleep. It takes the kiss of Prince Phillup to wake her up, but he must fight a fire-breathing dragon and other dangers to wake the princess up from her eternal sleep. Mulan (1998) Plot- Mulan doesn't quite fit into her traditional society. When the Huns invade and her father is forced to fight, Mulan takes her father's place and goes off to war. She must not let her comical troop know that she is a girl and with the help of her guardian dragon, she tries to bring honor to her family. Pocahontas (1996) Plot- Pocahontas is a spirited Native American. She loves her land and her animal friends. Captain John Smith came to explore and claim Pocahontas's land. Pocahontas establishes a relationship with John Smith and wants to know why Native Americans and the English can't get along. Going on the advice of Grandmother Willow, a Willow Tree, she seeks the answers to her questions. Robin Hood (1973) Plot- England is at war and ruled by a poser king. Prince John and his snake sidekick are taxing Nottingham's people to the point of poverty. Robin Hood and his bear companion steal from the rich and give to the poor. Robin also won't rest until he has the hand of fair Lady Marian and restores King Richard to the throne.
